Godwin’s Law and Trump
Godwin’s Law states that “As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1.”
There’s a corollary to Godwin’s Law that states that whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically lost whatever debate was in progress.
…but when Trump is exhibiting such amazingly similar behavior to such a group, it’s impossible not to make such comparisons! Fortunately, Godwin himself has realized this and says that such comparisons are not always inappropriate.
