Click It or Ticket

I forgot to mention it, but I went to court to fight that ticket I got for having an expired inspection sticker. (It expired in September and I was stopped on October 30th.) I presented the inspection test results taken less than three hours after I got the ticket where the car passed and simply explained that I forgot. The magistrate let me off without the fine.
…of course, if the guy had just given me a warning in the first place and told me to go get it inspected, it would have saved everyone time, money, and effort. Ugh.

In other news, I just got e-mail from my college roommate, Tim. He was just laid from the software company he was working for. That sucks. He says he’ll “send more later, but in the meantime, don’t use this address…”
I hope he contacts me again soon. We’re actually looking for a web developer. I’d love to get him in here to share my pain. …um…I mean my love for Monster. Yes.
