The L.S.S. Starfire is the transport vessel for Phoenix Force. The sixth vehicle designed and built for Phoenix Force, it is the largest of all and acts as a launching platform.

Although usually running supply missions, the L.S.S. Condor is capable of docking above the bridge.

The front of the large ship is where the helm is located. It has a hatch which can be opened when landed on a planet or when frontal-docked with a starbase.
The navigation station is directly behind the helm. Behind navigation is the captain's chair. On either side of the bridge are doors which can be opened when landed on a planet or when performing a side-dock.

Directly behind the bridge is an immense cargo bay. Sometimes referred to as the shuttle bay, it is usually home to The Landmaster. At the front of the cargo bay are the communications (left) and tactical (right) stations.

The tactical station has direct control over the weaponry on the underside of the Starfire. On the right side, a tractor beam emitter and anti-matter refueling mechanism can be lowered. Ships in need of refueling can be pulled in and get a "fill up" without needing to seek out a starbase.
In the center, almost directly under the captain's chair, there is a class 1 phaser cannon.
On the left side, a large plasma cannon can be lowered and targeted toward threatening forces.

When landing on a planet, The Landmaster is usually deployed. A ramp on he back of the ship is lowered and ground vehicles can roll in and out. Here we see The Landmaster returning to the Starfire and parked in its bay. (Note the Explorer out the window.)

The above photo shows the rear of the Starfire with the cargo bay doors closed. On the ouside door are the ship's multishield generators.
Also seen in this photo are the ship's quad hyperspace engines.

In the photo to the left, you can see the docking mechanism for the Stinger as well as the ship's "Canadian Arm". The arm is used for manipulation of cargo or for towing small vessels without relying on the tractor beam.
