Determined to keep the perimeter of Fort Legoredo secure, Major Nelson and his fellow soldiers Forrester and Erdhart patrol the plains. With their horse, Gypsy, along to help make the patrol easier on the feet, these three strong souls are the first line of defense for the fort. When trouble is sighted, be it restless natives or a buffalo stampede, the bugle is sounded to alert the fort. Then, the patrol's on its own...with just three rifles, a revolver, a sword, and dynamite to defend themselves.
Frontier Patrol is the first 1997 Lego set to appear in Toys R Us stores across the USA. This set is essentially a people-pack. It just might be more obvious if there was another soldier and not a horse. It also comes with a variety of weapons, a bugle, dynamite, a flag, saddle, and a bush.
This is my first Wild West set and I'm pretty pleased with it. I had always wanted to have a couple bandannas, some Wild West weapons, and a bugle...but didn't want to shell out a lot of money for a large set. This is pretty affordable and a must have for anybody slightly interested in Wild West.
There's not too much else I can say about this set. It doesn't really have any alternate models on the back since all you can really do is change around clothes and weapons.
