6075 "So, you think we'll get out alive?" asked a knight to another knight as they approached the tower.
"Well I don't know. The king told us to fetch the gold they took and any prisoners if possible, but it looks a little too quiet from here," replied the other knight.
"Well let's make our move, we don't have all day."
The two knights slowly moved up to the fortress. They ducked behind a bush and peered through the leaves. There seemed to be no one around.
"Do you think they know we're coming?" asked one knight.
"Maybe. This could be a trap, let's be careful."
The two knights slowly walked up the ramp and down the walkway. They approached the gate to the fortress and suddenly it started to rain. The torches quickly died out and the land became dark. Suddenly the two knights saw a faint green glow.
"What do you think that is?" asked one knight.
"I don't know."
His response was interrupted by a howl, then they saw it. A ghost! It floated towards them with its arms stretched out. The two knights both screamed and ran back towards the woods and back to the castle. The ghost disappeared and all was quiet.

This is a very special set to me because it was the first Lego set I ever bought after my huge "dark age". I decided to pick it up and see if I could get into the Castle theme. Overall, I have to say I am extremely pleased with this set. I was glad to get two one-piece mountain blocks in different shapes.
The set consists of a walkway to the fortress and the fortress which has two towers and two mountain-like walls on the side to prevent intruders from entering there. The walkway is short but adds to the overall appearance of the set. It has two red flags on the side. It also has a ramp piece that can come up to prevent intruders from entering the first section of the fortress.
The back area has two towers. The front one (from the main entrance) is shorter than the back one but it provides two of the older (better) torches and also has a black ladder which can come down to stop intruders from entering the tower area. Beyond that ladder is another slanted plate that can also be lifted up, only this time when you lift up this plate, it reveals a treasure! This idea is excellent and hides the riches nicely.
On the bottom floor of the back area are two large mountain boulders. The nice thing about these two rock pieces is that they slide to the side to make the bottom area of the fortress easier to access. This idea of the sliding boulder is what also made me buy this set. The pieces used to make the boulder slide are also found on the Black Monarch's Castle and the jail cell on the Dark Forest Fortress.
Now onto the back tower. The one thing that is cool about the back tower is that there is yet another black ladder included, but this time it is used to hold a prisoner or a ghost in the top of the tower. The very top of the tower also has a slanted red roof (the front tower has a similar red roof).
Unique or good pieces included in this set are a grey bird (don't see these in grey very often). The pieces to make the roofs slant are always nice to get as are the two boulder pieces. Also, a ghost is included with this set.
The only thing I have against this set is the fact that it's hard to get the ghost into the prison area (in the back tower). It's a very tight spot to get him into and out of. This is only a tiny complaint, but still bugs me a bit. Overall this set is great for any Castle collector. If you can find it, pick it up.
