6445 Oh, no! Those daredevils, the Extreme Team, have gotten themselves into another situation already. Their Speed Splasher has disappeared under the rapids and the team calls the R.E.S.Q station only half mile away from the Extreme Team's permanent camp. The helicopter is undergoing repairs and the jet ski is presently at the beach; however, they still have two of their three emergency evacs. It's no normal ambulance. It's equiped with 50 feet of nylon rope, jackhammer, drill, hammer, and stretcher, everything that blasts regular ambulances away!

A formidable set, the Emergency Evac is an ambulance with lots of added gear. I love the black with yellow trim color scheme. I love the mini-fig. I love the tools. I wonder why I don't love this set, only like it?

Instead of the transparent blue winshield in most cars, this actually has a dark blue small canopy that covers the entire front inside. Other cars usually have a space between the winshield and the wall in back of the driver. Instead of a steering wheel, there are two control sticks. I would have liked a steering wheel better because sticks get in the way when your putting in the driver and you have to play around with them until they fit in the driver's hands.

In back is the large compartment where the stretcher fits. The back opens and you can open it even more with a 4x4 2-brick-high special piece (also found in transparent orange in the Sharks Crystal Cave.) There's a dinghy that connects to the back like a trailer and has a grey technic wheel, turn it and an extra long rope extends to reach high places and then slide down with a little something the mini-fig holds that can be hung on the rope. It also includes a hammer, screw driver, jackhammer, and some other tools that I probably lost. It has blue and red sirens on top and it includes extras of these to put on a lighting brick.

The major down side is that there is no figure included to experience injury and great pain waiting to be placed on the strecher. The old model 6666-Ambulance was smaller and included a patient as well as a driver. Still, this is a great way to get a stretcher, a bunch of tools, some string and a rescue worker.
