1555 'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that new Lego sets soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of Lego trains ran through their heads.
And mamma in her 'herchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap.

When down near the tree there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the staircase I flew like a flash,
Tore open the door and down I did dash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But some new Lego sets, with some mini-figures,

Assembled by someone, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;

"Here's, STAR WARS! here's, MINDSTORMS! here's, STUDIOS and TECHNIC!
Now, SOCCER! and CASTLE! and, MARS sets and ARCTIC!
From the pile on the porch! to the pile near the wall!
Now build them! build them! build them all!"

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And built all our Lego; then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the thrust of a missile.
But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,
"GIVE SOME LEGO TO ALL, AND THOSE GIFTS WILL BE RIGHT!"

Well, there's really not much to ol' St. Nick. He can't bend. He can't move. He just stands there with two big black eyes and a round red mouth (or is that his nose?) Even the characters from South Park aren't as blocky as this Santa figure.

On the other hand, there's something really appealing about him. He's easily recognizable by even the youngest tot as Santa Claus and would make a really neat stocking stuffer...if you can manage to find one! Even if you can't, you might already have the pieces on hand.
